slow writing: Koru Games

We were on our try line, the other team was on there last touch as they looked for a gap our whole team runs up and touches him.

It was a quick turnover.

Alex passes the ball out the blind side to me and I run as fast a i can, I just get around there winger, I feel like a cheater running super fast.

As the winger on the other side gains on me I just get around him, The team is cheering.

Obviously I get the try and we win 12/1

Why the Dog is a Mans best Friend

Tangata (human) and his dog named Tama (Ben) were walking threw the forest and all of a sudden Tangata tripped on a rock and fell into the Clutha River which was the fastest flowing river in New Zealand. Tama watched as the Tangata fell into the river. As the Tangata struggled in the water Tama jumped in after him. Tama swam as fast as he could to catch up to the Tangata. Tama could see a rock sticking out of the water about 100 metres away from the Tangata. Tama swam even faster and caught up to the Tangata as the came close to the rock Tama started to pull the Tangata in front of the rock as the both crashed into the rock Tama was able to pull the tangata onto the rock then Tama jumped back into the water and he was strong enough to swim to the side of the river he grabbed a big long log and pushed it over the river then somehow the log rose into the sky and placed its self between the rock and the land Tama ran across the log and grabbed the Tangata and pulled and pulled him to dry land. And tanks to the dog the Tangata was saved and that's why the dog is a mans best friend.

100 word challenge

My house was shaking. I opened the door and there were meteors flying into my house and it was
floating down a lake. I ran to my mum and dad's room but they were both gone. Then a meteor
came flying into our living room. The only part of our house intact was mum and dads room so I jumped under the bed and suddenly everything stopped. I crawled out from under the bed. Our house was a wreck. I looked outside and saw that it was still floating down the lake. Then a helicopter came to my rescue and they took me to land.

100 word challange

On a dark winter's night a little girl named Indy Lee was on her 
way home with her parents from the supermarket. As she opened 
the door of the car Indy Lee and her teddy bear came flying out. 
Surprisingly Indy's parents didn't notice and kept driving. In the 
back of Indy's teddy bear there was a zip that she kept things in. 
Inside was a drink bottle, a warm coat, and a packet of chips. She 
went to this shop that was still open to call her parents to come get 
her, but it wasn't her parents who answered.

Science Experiment

Today we did another science experiment. The experiment was to see if a egg on top of a toilet roll which was on a plate that was balancing on a glass full of water. What you had to do was wake the plate so the egg would fall into the glass. After a while we decided to use a some fruit to make it more fun.

Science experiment

Today at school with Mr T we did a science experiment. The experiment was to find out what would happen if you had two cups a nail going threw the cups with a candle on the nail and then we had to light it to see what would happen to the candle. 
First we had to write a prediction. My prediction was that the cups would catch of fire. After we made our predictions we went out side to lit both ends of the candle. We waited a while but nothing happened so we blew it out. 
When we got back inside we watched a video to see what was meant to happen and the candle was meant to swing up and down like a seesaw so we went back out to try again but it wouldn't light so we went back inside to finish of our work.

Favourite old item

I had a really big teddy that was the size of me. It was grey and it had blue eyes and it had massive ears. I used to sleep with it every night until one night I got scared of the dark so got a torch so I could see but then I couldn't sleep because it was too bright so I put the torch up against my teddy bear and I went to sleep. When  woke up the torch was still going I looked at my teddy bear and it had a big burn on it so over night my teddy had caught on fire.
